Ymobile
In 2024, Ycorp launched the UK's first eSIM only MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) to the public market, with a React-Native app called Ymobile. Being ahead of the curve in eSIM integrations, Ycorp is working towards providing the first eSIM MVNO as a service.
Project Contributions
- • Supported the release of the existing React-Native app to a set deadline
- • Enhanced security via obfuscation
- • Provided further React-Native app support thereafter
- • Led the development of new native apps created in house, from scratch, to supersede the previous app
- • These apps utilised white label architecture, with modern and secure development standards
- • Worked with multiple external development teams to help deliver the project, which included working with an undocumented existing API, and advising on the new service
- • Integrated mobile plan subscription purchasing, stripe payments, plan management, data usage scales, account management, contract management, biometric authentication, field verifications, as some key examples
- • Initially created the iOS app, then replicated to the Android app

- • Experience in all aspects of the app development lifecycle, with the multiple iterations and changing variables that come from a startup environment
